Every year, L'Oreal Paris USA honors ten women across the United States for their humanitarian work in a program they call Women of Worth, and for 6 years I was given the honor of stepping into their world to photograph them. Criss-crossing the states from one story of radical generosity to the next turned this country into a patchwork quilt of kindness, community and possibility. Now more than ever, at this pivotal point in human history, we need to hear stories of people taking care of one other. I'm happy to share the stories of some of these extraordinary women with you:
