JENNIFER WILLIAMSON: COURAGE HOUSE
Jenny Williamson first learned about human trafficking when she was listening to a sermon at her church. Repulsed and heartbroken by the fact that her hometown was a major hub for sex trafficking, she was determined to do something about it. Williamson started Courage Worldwide with the mission to build homes for children rescued out of sex trafficking. The organization operates two homes for rescued children – one in Northern California and one in Tanzania, Africa. The homes offer focused trauma therapy, an on-site school and a variety of classes so each girl is thoroughly equipped, encouraged and empowered to begin her journey of healing and restoration.
